Public ecological action “World Cleanup-2012” will take place in Russia on September 15

The wide-scaled public ecological action “Let’s Do It! World Cleanup-2012” will take place in Russia, including Bashkiria, on September 15 and 82 countries will take part in it. Every country has already chosen its day for global cleanup on its own territory. About 300 million volunteers from different countries expected to take part in the action within the period from March 24 and up to September 25.

“The” World Cleanup-2012” will take place in Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as in Russia, on September 15. Before that the first test subbotniks will be organized in the Republic beginning from May, i.e. during this period we have to work out the precise system of organization for the participants, transport organization, garbage disposal, garbage recycling etc. Together we will make Bashkortostan cleaner” – the project coordinator in Bashkortostan Anastasia Malinina stated today during her press-conference, held by the news agency “Bashinform”.
