Rail Asadullin: “It’s high time to find the points of no return, which help to change the situation in sphere of education”

The meeting of the chairman of the Russian Rural Youth Union, a member of the national staff for public support of Vladimir Putin, as a presidential candidate, Olga Platoshina with student activists of Bashkortostan has taken place in Ufa on January 18.

Participants of the meeting were discussing actual problems, concerned with higher education and with the education system as a whole and, as the head of Vladimir Putin’s public waiting-hall in Ufa, the rector of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University Rail Asadullin mentioned, “Such format of communication has great potential for republican youth”.

“We understand that students and education are one of our main problematic points” - the rector said – “At present time the Russian law “Education” is being altered and, as a consequence, the position of education institutions will be changed as well as the system of funding. The demography also leaves its mark on the education system, so it is vitally important now to get to know our problems from inside, on the level of the regions, facing these problems. We are talking much to this subject but it’s high time to stop and determine the points of no return, starting from which we can change the situation, observed now in higher education as well as in the education system as a whole, on a qualitative level”.
