Almost 20 thousand people have climbed the peak IREMEL in Bashkiria in 2011

Almost 20 thousand people have become the visitors of the natural park “IREMEL” in 2011, the deputy director of the park Ilsaf Gabdeev reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

“Officially we started calculating the visitors of the park for the first time in 2011, since the park was established not long ago. The highest number of visitors has climbed the peak of IREMEL from the side of the village TULUK in Chelyabinsk region. The highest number of visits fell on July-August 2011, when the number of tourists, wishing to climb the sacred mountain, reached 300 and sometimes even 400 people on weekends” – Ilsag Gabdeev reported.

The number of visitors of the park from the side of Beloretsky and Utchalinsky regions RB is much lower. Thus, just about 100 people fell on every summer day off in 2011 here.

As for the recent New Year holidays, about 150 tourists have climbed the peak for the last ten days.
