Chelyabinsk region starts publishing a newspaper in Bashkir language

The newspaper “RODNYE PROSTORY” (“Native Expanses”) starts to be published in the town of Nyazepetrovsk, Chelyabinsk region. As the press-secretary of the Permanent Representative Office of Bashkortostan in Chelyabinsk region Michael Khabirov reported to “Bashinform”, the publication of this newspaper was in initiated by the representatives of the Bashkir intellectuals of the town.

The four-page newspaper will be published once a month and here one can get know about destinies of well-known Bashkirs in the region, Bashkir history and culture etc.

According to Michael Khabirov there were no either TV-programs or printed editions in Bashkir language in the region before.
