More than 700 mercury lamps have been collected in Bashkiria during this year

The eco-car of the state unitary enterprise "TABIGAT" collected more than one thousand old mercury lamps in the town of Tuimazy during the latest ecological action for collection and utilization of dangerous waste.

"Our movable kiosk for collection of mercury-containing lamps and thermometers was working in Tuimazy during five hours. We've collected 1068 mercury-containing products, mainly old lamps" - the engineer-ecologist of the state unitary enterprise "TABIGAT" Albina Shamsutdinova told to the news agency "Bashinform".

In a whole during 2011 the eco-car of the enterprise has collected more than 7 thousand luminescent and energy-saving mercury lamps, making more than 30 raids through Bashkiria.
