Growth of birth rate in Bashkortostan dictates the necessity to erect new maternity homes

According to the official statistics for the last five years the birth rate in Bashkortostan increased from 42 to 55 thousand babies per year. By this showing our Republic holds the fifth place in Russia and the first in Volga federal district.

The growth of birth rate in the region dictates the necessity to erect new modern maternity homes and obstetrical institutions.

The Government RB reports construction of the obstetrical block at the Republican clinical hospital by G.G. Kuvatov, meant for 120 beds, and the 80-bed maternity home in the town of Oktyabrsky will be continued in 2012.

The maternity home in Oktyabrsky will be put into exploitation at the end of 2012 and the obstetrical block at the Republican clinical hospital - in the first quarter of 2013.
