"The Public Electronic Newspaper" is admitted the best debut media project-2011 in Bashkortostan

"The Public Electronic Newspaper" has become the winner of the Republican mass-media contest "Golden Pen". This new product of the news agency "Bashinform" is published just slightly more than half a year and admitted the best project in the nomination "Debut-2011".

The flower ceremony for laureates of the annual professional mass-media competition has taken place within the frames of the traditional "The Ball of the Press", held in Ufa today. The contest is held by the Union of Journalists RB with the assistance of the Ministry for communication and mass communications RB. One of the project's designers blogger Shamil Valeev represented the editorial staff of the new Republican online newspaper at the ceremony.

"It seems the first media project in the Republic, made with the help of the crowd sourcing: any person may become the author of the newspaper and now it is very important to preserve this openness" - the pedagogue of the Bashkir State University's chair of marketing and advertising Michael Bressler said at the ceremony.

"The Public Electronic Newspaper" is a good site for development of so-called public journalism" - the head of "The School of Bloggers RB" Eugenia Tsutsueva says - " when any person may express his own opinion and share his experience irrespective of professional education and belonging to any edition. This newspaper looks like a blog, when a person writes from himself, demonstrating his own vision of the current situation. It is a good start and I'd like the project to be developed further both thanks to the growth of the number of internet users and publication of new burning materials".
