International Days of Miftahetdin Akmullah are opened in Ufa

The annual arrangements, devoted to the memory of the great Bashkir enlightener Miftahetdin Akmulla and dated to the 180th anniversary of the poet, begin in Bashkortostan. The Bashkir State Pedagogical University by Miftahetdin Akmullah reports the Days' program includes thematic exhibitions, devoted both to the poet and to the epoch of enlightenment, open lessons in Bashkir language and literature with the use of Akmullah's works, poetic contests, conferences and “round tables”.

Thus, the exposition “Miftahetdin Akmullah and the epoch of enlightenment” is opened at the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. On Tuesday, December 13, the evening party of Turk poetry will take place at the Ufa's secondary school N9. The online Olympiad on creative activity of Akmullah among junior pupils will take place on December 14 at the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. The conference “Religious and mythological motives in folklore and literature” will be organized on December 15.

The international scientific-practical conference “The humanistic heritage of enlighteners in culture and education” will take place on December 16 in the House of the State Council-Kurultay-RB. The folklore festival “Bashkortostan is the Cradle of Friendship” will be held in Ufa on December 16 and the festival “Akmullah's Morals”, held in the motherland of the enlightener – in Miakinsky region RB on December 17, will become the final action.

Representatives of institutes from Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg and many other Russian cities as well as from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Bulgaria will become participants and guests of the festival, the Bashkir State Pedagogical University reports.
