Rustem Khamitov is included into the staff of the board of trustees of the Russian Committee for national and non-Olympic kinds of sport

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov is included into the staff of the board of trustees of the Russian Committee for national and non-Olympic kinds of sport. His candidature was approved on December 1 at the Committee's meeting in Moscow.

Ufa pretends to the right to hold the World Games on national and non-Olympic kinds of sport in 2021. The delegation of the Committee for national and non-Olympic kinds of sport, headed by the co-chairman Gennady Aleshin, has visited Ufa on November 10 with the purpose of discussion of the possibility of Ufa's participation in the contest for the right to hold the Games. It was decided to establish a committee, responsible for preparation of the corresponding documentation and presentation materials, the public affairs service of the President RB reports.

For the reference: the Committee for national and non-Olympic kinds of sport was established in Russia in 1999. On the base of the agreement with the Russian Olympic Committee concerning delimitation of the spheres of activity it unites the kinds of sport, not included into the Olympic program. At present time the Committee unites and coordinates the activity of more than 70 public organizations for non-Olympic kinds of sport in the country.
