Rustem Khamitov discussed the problems of employment for young specialists with students of Ufa State Aviation Technical University

Problems of employment, adoption of innovations, motivation for scientific activity and organization of small innovational enterprises were the main subjects during the meeting of the President RB Rustem Khamitov with the students of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University (UGATU), held today, November 2.

“We have no right to leave young specialists jobless and this is one of the key aims for the authority” - Rustem Khamitov stated in the course of the meeting.

The head of the Republic described the situation, observed in the labor market today. The substantial shift towards training of specialists in humanitarian sphere is to the fore: 60% of all graduates have humanitarian and economic education. This disbalance doesn't allows the Republic working normally, providing the graduates with jobs. At present time 364 students fall on 10 thousand citizens of Bashkortostan and in Russia this index is equal to 410. The highest number of students is observed in Chuvashia – 500 students per 10000 of population.

Rustem Khamitov invited the students to find out why our graduates failed to find jobs. Low wages and not enough attraction to economic processes were called one of the key reasons. Young people wait for modernization but these expectations are too overrated, though they might become the motor of these processes themselves, not waiting for the global changes fr om the authority.

The President RB told about the main economic showings of the Republic: thus, the volume of industrial production in the Republic is higher than the average Russian one. The indices of house building are by 5% higher than the last year ones. Rustem Khamitov has underscored that supply of the citizens with good salaries, housing and jobs remain the key aims for the authority, including jobs for young specialists.

Several big investment projects, wh the present students cam apply their knowledge, have been mentioned at the meeting – the projects in sphere of machine building, woodworking, agriculture and opening of small oil-mining enterprises.

“Your problems can't be solved immediately” - Rustem Khamitov said in the end of the meeting - “This is a big work and we just start rotating this flywheel”.
