The TV festival-marathon of national cultures of the nations RB is held in Bashkortostan

The TV festival-marathon of national cultures of the nations, inhabiting Bashkortostan, devoted to the Year for consolidation of international accord, started in Republic of Bashkortostan last Friday. The festival is held with the purpose to preserve and develop national cultures of the nations RB, for consolidation of friendship and neighborliness between Bashkortostan's nations and initiated by the Ministry of culture RB, the Republican Folk Art Center, the TV-radio company “Bashkortostan” and local municipal administrations.

The festival was solemnly opened in the village Archangelskoe, where the folk amateur bands fr om Ufa, Archangelsky, Karmaskalinsky, Iglinsky and Ufimsky regions RB took part.

After that the festival moved to the trans-Ural zone, wh ere Beloretsky region took the baton. On October 15 the festival was continued in the towns of Meleuz and Sterlitamac. On October 18 it will be held in the village Kushnarenkovo and in the towns of Neftekamsk and Yanaul, on October 19 it will be held in Birsk, on October 21 – in the villages Chekmagush, Raevsky and in the town of Belebey. The festival will be over on October 22 in the village Bolsheustikinskoe.

The jury of the TV festival will choose the folk bands for participation in the final gala-show, which is to be held in Ufa, the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK”, on December 1, 2011.
