Participants of the XI conference “Archeography of South Ural” offer to make an internet-portal, devoted to history of the USSR
The XI all-Russian scientific-practical conference “Archeography of South Ural: historical experience as a resource of modernizations” has taken place at the Institute for ethnological investigations by R.G. Kuzeev under the Ufa Scientific Center RAS (Russian Academy of Sciences). It was initiated by the Archive Dept RB, the Institute for ethnological investigations and by the Bashkir division of the Russian Society of Historians-Archivists.
Participants of the forum – historians, employees of state archives and museums – have discussed several actual problems, concerned with the investigations of Russian history, and development of archive and museum business in the country.
In the resolution, approved in the end of the conference, its participants offer to open the modern courses of Russian history for secondary schools and higher education institutions, which would combine systemacy and historicism of description with the exact historical, moral, legal, public and political evaluation of the events; to encourage and support scientific investigations, devoted to the Russian history; to launch an internet-portal, where the most important political documents of the Soviet Union's political history, kept by the archives, are published as well as the most important researches of Russian and foreign scientists.
