Mass-media contest “Struggle with corruption is a common cause” started in Bashkortostan

“Struggle with corruption is a common cause” – this is the name of the contest, announced by the Ministry of communication and mass communications RB and by the Union of Journalists RB, and representatives of all mass-media: printed and internet editions, TV and radio are invited. The results will be summed up separately in every category and the jury will consider the materials, published within the period between January 1 and November 30, 2011, inclusive.
Such criteria as actuality and credibility of information, the presence of information about concrete schemes of corruption interaction between the authority, business, non-commercial organizations and separate citizens, the analysis of the grounds and conditions of corruption and possible ways for improving this situation will be taken into account during estimation of the contest works.
Three prize places will be allocated for every nomination. The authors, winning the first position, will be rewarded with 18000 rubles, the winners of the second places will receive the award at the rate of 9000 rubles each and the prize for the third place will amount to 5000 rubles.
The materials are accepted during November at the Ministry of communication and mass communications RB (Ufa, Kirov Street, 45). The totals of the contest will be announced on December 9 – the International Day of Struggle with Corruption and the winners will be rewarded in January 2012 during celebration of the Day of Press Workers RF.
