576 million rubles will be spent for modernization of health service in Bashkir trans-Ural

The overall volume of financing for the program of health system modernization in 2011 and 2012 will amount to more than 576 million rubles, the Minister of health protection RB George Shebaev reported at today’s gathering of the Bashkir Government’s Presidium re modernization of health system in trans-Ural zone.

Estimating the demographic situation in the zone the Minister mentioned it was characterized by high showings of death rate and birth rate. The diseases of blood circulation system, external reasons and malicious growths hold the leading positions in the structure of population’s death rate.

Further development of health protection system in trans-Ural will be conducted within the frames of the program for modernization of the medical branch and the Republican goal-oriented investment program.

According to the Minister the inter-municipal specialized medical districts will be established on the base of big multi-profiled urban and central regional hospitals and 24-round-the-clock functioning of all services will become the main principle of such centers.

The municipal districts of trans-Ural zone will be fixed to three centers, able to render medical aid in the towns of Sibay, Baimak and Kumertau. In addition to the oncology and perinatal centers the traumatological and the primary cardiovascular centers will be opened in Sibay.

George Shebaev has also reported that at present time they are busy with organizing the tenders for purchases of medical equipment and vehicles. The central regional hospitals in seven municipal districts of trans-Ural zone will be supplied with the ambulance cars. Besides, all medical institutions of the zone will additionally purchase computers for registering clerks and medical personnel, directly participating in the diagnostics process. In a whole 20 million 219,66 thousand rubles will be spent for informatization of medical institutions in trans-Ural area.
