The IV congress of Turk sociologists started working in Ufa

The IV congress of Turk sociologists “Eurasian space: civilized potential of Turk-speaking countries and Russian regions in the XXI century” started working in Ufa, the Ufa State Aviation Technical University, today. It is initiated by the Association of Sociologists RB, the Academy of Sciences RB, the Ufa State Aviation Technical University, the Bashkir State University and by the Institute for Advanced Training RB.

The forum gathered leading sociologists, political scientists and philosophers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary and Germany.

The main idea of the forum is the scientific substantiation of not just a multi-polarity of the modern world as the foundation of its stable development but the possibility of integration of various cultural, social-economic and political structures and confessions. The Turk world together with the European world outlook can become an example of such integration. In the course of two days participants of the forum will discuss various aspects of this theme, the historical experience of Russia and its regions in development and consolidation of international and inter-confessional relations and new works of sociology in this direction.

The congress of Turk sociologists is held since 2005; the First congress has taken place in Turkey, the II – in Kazakhstan and the III-in Kyrgyzstan.
