The flag of the world summer biathlon championship-2012 arrived in Bashkortostan

The flag of the world summer biathlon championship-2012 arrived in Bashkortostan from Czechia. The International Biathlon Union (IBU) reached the decision to hold the next championship in Ufa in August-September 2012.

The world championship-2011 attracted the sportsmen from 25 countries. They were competing in sprint, pursuit race and relay races. Two sportsmen- Nikolai Yakushev and Tatiana Kazakova – presented Republic of Bashkortostan.

After the world championship-2011 in Czechia had been closed, the solemn ceremony for giving the flag of the world biathlon championships to the masters of the next championship – Republic of Bashkortostan – has taken place in the settlement Novo-Myasto, Czechia. The Vice-Premier of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina brought the flag to the Republic, the press-service of the Government RB reported.
