Rustem Khamitov congratulated the personnel of the Bashkir Satellite TV with the 10th anniversary

On September 21 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has taken part in the solemn evening party, devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Bashkir Satellite TV in Ufa Congress-Hall. The President of Bashkortostan congratulated the personnel of BST with the jubilee date and highly estimated its activity, calling it “kind and humane”.

“Ten years is really long term and calculating it in days, it means 3650 days or more than 36 thousand hours under the condition that one works 10 hours per day. But there are people in your personnel, working 20 hours and even 25 hours per day! These figures are enormous and filled with your sincere, honest and diligent labor” – Rustem Khamitov said.

The head of the Republic has underscored that the personnel of BST is working not for itself but for population of Bashkortostan and, finally, for population of Russia in a whole.

“You are competing new means of mass-media and it is still unknown who will be the winner. Internet is seizing new territories and new means of data transference, which we still have no idea about, enter the communication market. You should know how to adopt new technologies and have to be flexible and up-to-date”.
