Journalists are invited to take part in the contest for advancement of Bashkortostan in the tourist market

Several contests, aimed at advancement of tourist resources in Volga federal district, will be held within the frames of the festival – presentation of the tourist resources “Discover Volga Zone”. The festival will be held in Nizhniy Novgorod on October 17-19. The state business undertakings and tourism committee RB invites all journalists to take part in the contest of photo-materials, video and publications about tourism in the Republic.

The works and applications are received till October 7, 2011, to the festival’s e-mail. More detailed information can be found on the site of the festival “Discover Volga Zone”.

Besides, the interactive questioning is going on the site www.kurortrussia.ru, where the visitors are offered to choose one of 14 regions in Volga federal district, which they’d like to visit in the nearest future as tourists. All visitors of the portal may choose the most interesting region from the point of view of tourism till September 30.

Bashkortostan still remains the most attractive for tourism region in this virtual competition. At present time our Republic holds the second region in the list behind only Perm region.
