International Islamic conference to take place in Ufa

The IV international scientific-practical conference “Ideals and values of Islam in educational space of the XXI century” will be held in Ufa on September 22 and 23.

On September 22, the first day, the plenary session of the conference will take place in the Congress-Hall. Representatives of Bashkir authority, the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia, the Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadjuddin, the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Bashkortostan, mufti Nurmukhamet Nigmatullin and other VIPs fr om Russian cities and foreign countries will take the floor.

On the second day, September 23, the delegates of the forum will take part in work of the sections, wh ere the problems of compatibility of Islam and science, social and philosophical Islamic ideals and values are to be under consideration. The “round table” “International cooperation and interaction in Islamic education” will take place within the frames of the conference.

The forum is held within the frames of the federal program for assistance to development of Islamic education in Russia with the assistance of the Russian Government. The forum’s program is realized by secular and religious education institutions of the country. The conference is held under the patronage of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov. The representatives of the Government RB, activists of science, education and religion, diplomats and guests (from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Morocco, Turkey and France) will participate in the conference.
