“Bashinform” is called the most popular site of Ufa

Citizens of Ufa consider the site of the news agency “Bashinform” the most popular and trustworthy. This site was placed on the first place after the last sociologic poll, the head of Ufa administration information-analytical dept Rail Mukhametov reported today.

The poll was held with the assistance of the Institute of social-economic investigations under the Ufa Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Sciences. 29% of Ufa citizens called the news agency “Bashinform”, answering the question what online mass-media cover the events, occurring in Ufa and Bashkiria, in the fullest and the most accurate way. The “Live Journal” blog of the President RB Rustem Khamitov was placed on the second position with 12,8% of votes. The official site of Ufa stands on the third place with 12,3%. The official sites of the President of Bashkortostan and the Republican Government are located on the fourth and fifth positions with 11% and 6% correspondingly.

The head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev said today that the popularity of the printed mass-media went on falling – according to the statistics just every third citizen reads the press and the main share of population receives information through internet.
