The start of the IV ice hockey championship of the Continental Hockey League is postponed because of the Yaroslavl’s tragedy

In connection with the tragedy, taking away the lives of hockey-players, coaches and personnel of the hockey club “Locomotive” and with the decision, made by the leadership of the Continental Hockey League concerning the interruption of the regular championship the League’s competitions department reports that all matches of the League, scheduled on September 8,9,10,11 are cancelled.

The decision concerning the date of the championship’s beginning will be made and officially announced in the nearest future. All changes in the schedule of the League championship 2011-2012 will be ventilated additionally.
