All-Russian forum “Eco World-2011” forms “green” trend of the country

The all-Russian forum of ecological initiatives “Eco World-2011’ is over in Krasnodar region. Representatives of 50 Russian regions, including Bashkortostan, participated in its work.

As one of the forum’s participants, engineer-ecologist from the state unitary enterprise “TABIGAT” (Bashkortostan) Albina Shamsutdinova says, the initiators of the forum managed to make a good site for the dialogue between the authorities, business, public and scientific communities and mass-media. Besides, they’ve managed to unite the leaders, which are already working over solution of the ecological problems, development of “green economics”, inculcation of eco-innovations and popularization of “green” ideas in Russia.

“The program turned out to be very intense. During six days we were taking part in “round tables”, master-classes, presentations and visited plenty of interesting lectures – about 100 hours in a whole. Every day was devoted to one definite problem, for instance to forests, “green” technologies, eco-education, eco-business, power-engineering and waste recycling” – she said – “I was happy to take part in the forum, being included in the staff of Bashkir delegation. Thanks to it the grand plans for the future are already outlined: realization of the federal project “Green Schools of Russia”, holding of wide sociological survey on abolition of plastic bags etc. Besides, the start of the project on making the interactive map of the reception stations for secondary raw materials in Bashkortostan has become an important achievement of the participants of the forum from Bashkortostan”.
