The folklore festival “The Land of Ancestry” to be held in Ermekeevsky region of Bashkiria

The interregional folklore festival “The Land of Ancestry” will take place on September 9 in the village Ermekeevo. The national festival is dated to the Year for consolidation of international concord in the Republic and held with the purpose of consolidation of friendship between the nations of multinational Russia and Bashkortostan, preservation and development of national and cultural originality, traditions of brotherhood and national cultures of the nations, inhabiting Republic of Bashkortostan. The festival is initiated by the Ministry of culture RB, the Republican Folk Art Center and by the administration of Ermekeevsky region.

Every year this festival gathers numerous amateur folk collectives of the nations, inhabiting the picturesque banks of the river Ik and also from Republic of Tatarstan, Orenburg and Samara regions, presenting Bashkir, Russian, Tatar, Chuvash, Udmurt, Mordvinian and Ukrainian cultures.
