The VII international festival of social advertising “Urban Environment” starts in Ufa

The festival of social advertising “Urban Environment” is held in Ufa for the seventh time this autumn. The festival’s steering committee reports the acceptance of works is already running and as soon as this year is announced the Year for consolidation of international discord in Bashkortostan, the festival will be held under the slogan “Equally Different”.

“We are equal because we are all people with similar values: friendship, family, love, children, prosperity of the native country and we are different because languages, nationalities, frontiers, the feeling of distrust in strangers, political and religious views separate us. But we coexist in one world and live on one earth. We are sitting at one bench, receiving equal knowledge, working for one company and the sky above us is the same for everybody. We drink one and the same water, inhale one and the same air, we equally laugh and cry. We are different but we are equal – equally different” – this is the point of view of the festival’s initiators. They don’t doubt that this theme, being one of the most actual for today, will be able to inspire the participants of the festival for creation of new interesting and original works.

“Urban Environment” will traditionally receive the guests in Ufa – well-known specialists in sphere of advertising. It should be noted that the festival has long ago become “the source of manpower” for many companies in Ufa: many students, earlier taking part in the contest, successfully work at advertising, marketing and consulting companies of Ufa at present time.

The final actions of the festival and the flower ceremony for the winners will take place in the capital of Bashkortostan on November 18.
