Ufa is taking the baton of the flag of the Student Games-2013

The train “Student Games in Your Town!” arrived in Ufa railway station on September 5 in the morning. The train delivered the flag of the Student Games.

The relay-race of the flag of the International Student Sport Federation (FISU) and the XXVII World Summer Student Games-2013 round the Russian cities started on August 31 from Kazan.

The youth actions “We Vote for Peace!” and “Postcard-2013” started in Ufa at noon on Salavat Ulaev Square. The essence of the actions is the preparation of a message for the Russian student national team, which is going to take part in the Games in 2013. Any person might write such message on the stand, fastened to the legendary truck “KAMAZ-Masters”.

The press-conference with participation of the head of “The executive directorate of the XXVII World Summer Student Games-2013 in Kazan” Larisa Sulima, the deputy General Director of the Directorate Igor Sivov and the rector of the Bashkir State University Akhat Mustafin has taken place at the Bashkir State University within the frames of today’s action.

After the end of the conference the agreement “About mutual partnership and joint activity within the frames of the XXVII World Summer Student Games-2013 in Kazan” was signed between the executive directorate and the partner – the Bashkir State University. The conference of the representatives of student youth from Bashkortostan and Tatarstan was held too.

The Republican competitions among the teams of higher education institutions are held on the stadium “Dynamo” in Ufa today. The show “Student Games in Your Town!” will begin after the end of the competitions and it will smoothly turn to the presentation of FISU flag with participation of famous Republican sportsmen, veterans of sport, students and activists of youth public organizations.
