The newspaper “On the Land of Salavat” has become a laureate of the VII all-Russian contest “People’s Power”

The newspaper “On the Land of Salavat” (Salavatsky region of Bashkortostan) has become a laureate of the all-Russian contest of publications about problems of local self-government “People’s Power”, the steering committee of the contest reports.

The final awarding ceremony will take place on September 21-23 in the settlement “PUSHKINSKIE GORY” (Pskov region). The deputy editor-in chief of the newspaper Shamil Akhmetshin is invited to the ceremony. He is included into the list of laureates in the nomination “Open Theme”.

390 applications from 136 settlements, presenting 55 Russian regions and Ukraine, were submitted to the contest in a whole.

It should be reminded that “UTCHALINSKAYA GAZETA” has become a diploma-winner of the contest in 2010. The final ceremony was held in Vladimir.
