The action “Creators of Life” urges citizens of Ufa to become donors

The charitable action “Creators of Life”, initiated by the regional divisions of “United Russia” and “United Russia Young Guardians”, started in Ufa yesterday. Popularization and development of voluntary blood donation is its main goal. The mobile hemotransfusion station is working on the square in front of the UMPO Palace during two days.

Hundreds of people need donor blood in Ufa every day as well as all over the Republic, the medics of the hemotransfusion station say. On average the blood of two-three donors is necessary to save the life of one patient. The donor blood, collected in the course of the action, will be presented to the oncological dept of the Republican children’s clinical hospital.

“In the future we intend to hold such actions regularly and the next actions will be held already in September and October. We hope to attract at least 600 people to the lines of the voluntary donors” – the participant of the action and activist of “United Russia Young Guardians” Robert Ishtukov said to “Bashinform”.
