The action in furtherance of reading to be held in Ufa

The action in furtherance of reading will be held in Ufa on August 29, 30 and 31 on the eve of the Knowledge Day (September 1). It is initiated by the scientific publishing house “Bashkir Encyclopedia” under the Academy of Sciences RB, the National Library by Akhmet-Zaki Validi and by the Bashkir Republican division of the Russian Children’s Fund with the assistance of the Ministry of communication and mass communications RB.

As the initiators of the action report to the news agency “Bashinform”, plenty of various arrangements are planned within the frames of the action. Thus, the book quiz will be held by the “Radio Sputnik FM” and “Radio ULDASH” on August 29. Same day the group of enthusiasts will organize the show in furtherance of reading on the square near the Salavat Ulaev Monument. The festival with participation of well-known scientists, writers and artists is expected on August 31 in the book shops of Ufa.

Besides, the collection of books for parentless children will be organized during all three days of the action in the book shops “ACADEMKNIGA”, “KITAP” and “ZNANIE”.
