Delegation RB will take part in international tourist conference in Syktyvkar

On August 19 the representatives of the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB and the Tourist Industry Union RB will visit the Republic of Komi. The international tourist conference “The role of ethnic-cultural factor in development of internal and foreign tourism in Russian Federation” will be held in Syktyvkar during two days. The conference is initiated by the Federal Tourism Agency and by the Government of Komi.

The press-service of the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB reports that special attention will be paid to the role of tourism in modernization and diversification of regional economic structures, to the problems in establishment of regional and municipal tourist clusters, attraction of investments to the sphere of tourism and to development of state-private partnership.

Two “round tables” – “Development of ethnic-cultural tourism” and “Development of ecological tourism” – will take place in the first day of the conference.

Besides, the participants of the conference may become acquainted with historical-cultural and ethnic-geographical potential of the Republic of Komi.
