Citizens of the village Urman brought the action against the Russian Ministry of defense

The citizens of the village Urman brought the action against the Russian Ministry of defense, demanding to pay their damages for their homes, destroyed during the explosions at the local ammunition depot and calling the military unit N67684 the main defendant, as the representative of local administration Anas Valiullin reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

“The winter will come soon but the case is still found on the dead stop” – he said – “The villagers have already repaired their homes and calculated the damages. But the Ministry of defense hasn’t yet allocated the money. We have to go to the law”.

It should be noted that the overall damage because of the explosions in Urman amounted to 420 million rubles. The leadership of Bashkortostan has already paid out the indemnities to the villagers, erected new cottages and restored the village’s infrastructure. In order to supply the villagers with houses it was decided to erect three 16-flat tenement-houses and 12 individual cottages in the nearby village Iglino. At the same time the Ministry of defense RF still has the obligations before the villagers, who fail to receive the indemnity for their destroyed homes at present time. Several families in the village are ready to bring the suits against the Ministry now.
