The plan for preparation for the International Pupils Games is under elaboration in Ufa

The plan of actions for preparation for the Winter International Pupils Games is under elaboration in Ufa. The Games will be held in the capital RB in 2013 and the main problems the Ufa authorities have to solve are construction and reconstruction of the sport objects and accommodation of the guests, as the Ufa Mayor Paul Kachkaev reported today.

“The President of the International Pupils Games Torstein Rush was satisfied with the results of his inspection, when he visited Ufa” – the Mayor reported – “Now we have to prepare ourselves in the best way”.

The International Pupils Games are held under the aegis of the International Olympic Committee since 1968. At that the Winter Games were held just five times. The last ones have taken place in the beginning of this year in Canada and 500 sportsmen and 126 coaches, presenting 39 teams from 14 countries, took part in it.

The decision concerning holding the VI Winter Pupils Games in Ufa has been made on August 4 in Scotland during the Games’ steering committee’s meeting.
