The grants of the President of Russia are presented to the young scientists of Bashkortostan
Six young scientists from Bashkortostan are rewarded with the grants of the President of Russia in 2011.The Federal Inspector in RB Alexei Kovalsky has handled the grant certificates to the researchers on Tuesday, August 2.
Anticipating the solemn awarding ceremony he has mentioned that the wide-scaled modernization goals the country faces today demand innovational approaches in all spheres of public state structure and in the scientific sphere first of all.
“All you know quite well that the problems with financing in the 90s have resulted in the outflow of young specialists both from the applied and the fundamental science: we have to admit that the Russian science stood on the verge of survival that time” – Alexei Kovalsky said.
But as the federal inspector said, the new science infrastructure, based on state control and state investments, is under establishment now.
The list of the Bashkir grant owners includes two representatives of the Bashkir State University on the direction “Technical and engineering sciences” – the docent of the applied physics chair Rasul Zinnatullin, his colleague Vadim Zakharov and one more grant receiver in this nomination Alexander Kishalov from the Ufa State Aviation Technical University, on the direction “Chemistry, new materials and chemical technologies” – Vadim Mingaleev from the Institute of organic chemistry under the Ufa Scientific Center RAS, on the direction “Biology, agriculture and technologies of bio-systems” – Julia Vakhitova from the Institute of biochemistry and genetics under the Ufa Scientific Center RAS and on the direction “Public and humanitarian sciences” – Sergey Shaulov from the Bashkir State University.
It should be noted that the grants of the President of Russia are meant for state support of young Russian scientists – candidates and doctors of sciences – and are allocated for the two-year term for financing of the expenses of the fundamental and the applied scientific investigations on prior directions of science, technology and technique. The size of the grant for a candidate of sciences makes up 600 thousand rubles per year, including remuneration of labor for his colleagues. The size of the grant for a doctor of sciences is equal to one million rubles per year.
