Bashkir jurt will become a decoration of the festival in Syktyvkar

The festival of national yards “Paternal Home” will take place on August 20 on the main square of Syktyvkar and traditional Bashkir jurt will be mounted there too. The festival is initiated by the Ministry of national policy of Komi and devoted to the 90th anniversary of Komi foundation.

About 300 artists, presenting national-cultural communities of Russians, Komi, Ukrainians, Byelorussians, Tatars, Bashkirs, Armenians and Germans will take part in the festival’s show.

The banners with the information about activity of local national-cultural communities and the main milestones with photos will be installed on the square. All comers may watch national yards and taste various national dishes, the news agency “Komi Inform” reports.
