Bashkortostan is the leader in spring draft-2011

More than 81000 young people have been drafted within the period between April 1 and July 15, 2011, and this showing exceeded the previously planned one, the Military Commissariat RB reports.

As the deputy head of the Russian Armed Forces Joint Staff Basil Smirnov mentioned, Republic of Bashkortostan is the leader in the spring draft-2011 among Russian regions.

In a whole the military registration and enlistment offices of the Central Military District have drafted more than 102 thousand recruits from Volga, and Ural zones, Eastern Siberia and near-Baikal area. One third of the recruits will serve on the territory of the District. More than 4,5 thousand were drafted by the Navy, 11 thousand – by the internal troops of the Russian Ministry of internal affairs. 72 people have chosen the alternative army service.
