The inter-municipal medical center in Sterlitamac promised to become one of the biggest

The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov has held a field meeting re development of the regional program for health protection system modernization in 2011-2015 the day before. In particular, the question concerning establishment of the inter-municipal medical center in the town of Sterlitamac was under discussion there.

It should be reminded that within the frames of health protection modernization in Bashkortostan it is planned to open nine medical districts and nine inter-municipal medical centers on the base of these districts.

“The centers are planned to be opened in Ufa, Sterlitamac, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Beloretsk, Birsk, Kumertau, Sibay and in Duvansky region of Bashkortostan” – the Vice-Premier told. As he reported, the center in Sterlitamac will be one of the biggest one and has to serve the citizens of seven adjacent regions and of the town of Salavat.

Besides, the chief doctor of Sterlitamac’s clinical hospital N1 Oleg Popov has reported that the regional traumatologic and cardiovascular centers will be opened in the town in the nearest future. The existing perinatal and oncological centers will be modernized.
