Bashkir State Agrarian University is one of the most open institutes in the country

The Bashkir State Agrarian University is considered one of the most open institutes in the country according to the results of the investigation of the transparency of the state institutes’ sites. The investigation was conducted by the National Research Institute “The Higher School of Economics” and RIA “NOVOSTI” within the frames of the project “Social Navigator”.

The initiators composed the rates of the Russian institutes in order to see to what extent the higher education institutions met the criteria of transparency and convenience for the school-leavers, especially now, during the period of the entrance exams.

The experts watched, did the internet sites possess necessary and timely information about the terms of documentation submission, the contacts of entrance examinations and consultants for the school-leavers, the lists of the necessary documents, the information about availability of budget and payable vacancies on every direction, the cost of education, preferences for winners of various Olympiads etc.

These criteria are present in the rate of the sites’ transparency and have the “weight” from 5 to 15 points. The summary point for every institute is assembled of these criteria. The highest mark, which the institute can receive by all criteria, is 135. Only 27 higher education institutions in the country meet these criteria completely, including the Bashkir State Agrarian University. The Bashkir State University goes slightly behind with 125 points and the Ufa State Academy of economics and service goes next with 110 points.
