The children’s Udmurt camp “USTOCHIKAR” to be opened in Tatyshlinsky region of Bashkortostan
The interregional children’s Udmurt creative camp “USTOCHIKAR” (“The City of Masters”) will be working in the village VYAZOVKA, Tatyshlinsky region RB, within the period between August 1 and 10, as the manager of the Udmurt historical-cultural center “NOVYE TATYSHLY” Xenia Gilfanova reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.
The camp will be opened for the ninth time, starting since 2003, on the base of the children’s health center by Komarov with the assistance of the Ministry of culture RB, the Ministry of youth policy and sport RB and local administration.
100 children will arrive in the camp: 75 – from Bashkortostan, 15 – from Perm region and 10 – from Udmurtia.
The specialists will teach the children national folklore, weaving, Udmurt literature, IT, journalism and the art of working with birch bark and straw.
“Only the trained children, who know Udmurt language, will go to the camp” – Xenia Gilfanova said – “Since all lessons will be conducted in Udmurt language”.
