One of nine district specialized medical centers in Bashkortostan to be opened in Kumertau

Within the frames of the modernization program one of nine district specialized medical centers in Republic of Bashkortostan will be opened in the town of Kumertau. It will serve the population of four Bashkir regions and of the towns Kumertau and Meleuz. The oncological, traumatologic, cardiovascular and perinatal centers will function in the zone, as the chief doctor of Kumertau central hospital Galim Kireev was telling at the last Republican gathering, devoted to development of the program for health protection modernization.

The press-service of the Ministry of health protection RB reports, the field gathering was held by the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov. The first deputy Minister of health protection RB Anvar Bakirov, the deputy Minister of health protection RB Dinara Enikeeva, the executive director of the Territorial Obligatory Medical Insurance Fund RB Alexei Menshikov and heads of regional administrations were taking part in it.

“The overall volume of financial provision for medicine will amount to more than 18 billion rubles for two years” – the Vice-Premier reported – “In 2011 the program will be funded by 43,5% of the overall sum and in 2012 – correspondingly by 56,4%. More than 47% of the means, meant for strengthening of the medical material and technical base, will be spent for development of the childhood and obstetrics services”.

“As a result of the health protection modernization program in Bashkortostan all medical institutions should be brought in conformity with the need of population in medical aid” – the first deputy Minister of health protection RB Anvar Bakirov added.
