Gregory Rapota: “The persons, guilty of “Bulgaria” shipwreck, have to be found”

“We intend to check technical state of all river boats as well as their operating rules not only in Tatarstan but along the whole of Volga-river” – the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in Volga federal district Gregory Rapota stated during the meeting in the operating staff for liquidation of the emergency situation on the motor- ship “Bulgaria” accident site.

“These are the realities we are facing every day – old river boats are exploited mercilessly, there are no words of consolation in this tragedy, since we can’t return our children back to life, but the persons, guilty of all that, have to be found” – the Plenipotentiary stated.

According to information of the Russian Emergencies Ministry the number of officially registered victims increased up to 73 people. The operation for salvaging is planned on July 16, the Emergencies Minister of Russia Sergey Shoigu reported on Tuesday.
