The Days of culture of Chechen Republic have passed in Bashkortostan

The Days of culture of Chechen Republic were organized at the art gallery “Ural” the last weekends. The action was initiated by the Chechen national-cultural center “Bart” (“Concord”), working in the Republic for already 17 years. The representatives of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Dagestani communities, living in Bashkortostan, have also become the guests of the Days.

The chairman of the center Lom-Ali Israilov told it already became a tradition to hold the Days of Chechen culture in Bashkortostan. The stands with the national Chechen clothes and telling about the history of Chechen Republic were installed at the gallery. The photo-exhibition by Alan Isaev was also presented with the frames of the Days. The author has chosen more than 100 works from the great collection of the photos, made in Chechnya in 2007-2010 – the photos of the unique natural nooks of Caucasus, the portraits of the author’s compatriots, everyday occurrences and the moments from today’s life in Chechnya.

At present time there are 40 national-cultural centers in Bashkortostan and “Bart” is one of the most active. There are about 1200 representatives of Chechen nationality in the Republic.
