Among 50 wonders of Volga Region –"Shulgan-Tash" cave, "Lyalya-Tulpan" mosque and Ahun menhirs

On the site of the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in Volga federal district an interactive voting «Wonders of Volga Region — With One's Own Eyes» has come to the end. 20 417 persons took part in voting.

Among 50 places which should be seen in Volga federal district, there are "Shulgan-Tash" cave in Burzjansky region (the 27 place in the list), "Lyalya-Tulpan" mosque in Ufa (the 37 place) and a megalithic complex in Ahunovo village of Uchalinsky region (the 48 place) located in Bashkortostan.

Places of interest from the Perm Territory and Tatarstan Republic became the leaders of interrogation.

On the first place there are architectural and historical sights (there are six of them in the twenty of leaders: Sviyazhsk city-island, Kazan Kremlin, the ancient city of Bulgary, Nizhniy Novgorod Kremlin, the bridge over Volga — the biggest in Europe, stela with N.Durova's bas-relief. In total 9078 people voted for them).

On the second place natural sights or objects (there are seven of them in the twenty of leaders: "Plakun" falls in the Perm Territory, natural park «Mary Chodra», the Kungursky Ice Cave, Svetloyar lake in natural park «Voskresensky Povetluzhe», "Idnakar" reserve in Udmurtiya, natural park «Samarskaya Luka» and Shaitan lake in Nurgush reserve. In total 7640 people voted for natural sights).

On the third place there are various museums and museum complexes (N.G.Chernyshevsky's House-museum, Vyatka Paleontologic Museum, the Perm museum of art «PERMM», M.Y. Lermontov reserve museum "Tarhany" in the the Penza Region, M.Kalashnikov Museum of Small Arms in Izhevsk, the P.I. Tchaikovsky Museum in Votkinsk, A.S. Pushkin reserve museum in Boldino village of the Nizhni Novgorod Region. In total 2773 people voted for museums and museum complexes).
