About four thousand people have suffered from tick bites in Bashkortostan

3775 people, suffering from tick bites, have asked for help at the medical institutions of Bashkortostan, including 31% of children, as the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights in RB reported. This is considerably less than in 2010. On May 18, 2010, 5276 people have been attacked by the bloodsuckers.

No cases of the tick virus encephalitis have been registered in the Republic.
