Action “We are One Blood, Baby!” started in Ufa

The charitable action “We are One Blood, Baby!” started in Ufa on May 16. It will be held at the Republican blood transfusion station and in the mobile blood collection centers, located in Ufa on the square in front of the UMPO Palace (May 16-18) and on the Lenin’s Square (May19-20). The action is held by the Public City Development Fund with the assistance of Ufa administration health protection department. As the executive director of the Fund Ilia Rodionov tells, for the first time the project “We are One Blood” started in October 2008. For five stages of this social action more than 14 thousand people have taken in it and the number of donors made up 4547, including 720 people, having become donors for the first time. The Republican blood bank received additionally more than two thousand liters of blood.

“The action “We are One Blood, Baby!” is a new call of the project, aimed at attraction as many people as possible to donorship” – Ilia Rodionov said.
