Zugura Rakhmatullina is taking part in the session of UNESCO Executive Council

The 186th session of UNESCO Executive Council continues working in Paris on May 12-15 under the chairmanship of the permanent representative of Russia, the chairman of UNESCO Executive Council Eleonora Mitrofanova. The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB, the chairman of the Committee on UNESCO Affairs RB Zugura Rakhmatullina is taking part in the session. It is expected she will hold a meeting with the representatives of UNESCO leadership, where the aspects of further cooperation between Bashkortostan and UNESCO are to be under consideration. Several work meetings with the representatives of UNESCO, patronizing the questions of the world material, cultural and natural heritage and interaction with UNESCO associated schools and chairs are also scheduled.

In the course of the session several reports, devoted to strategic assessment of UNESCO program activity, to the aspects of reformation of this organization will be introduced to the states – the members of the UNESCO Council. It is also expected that the plan for reformation of the regional UNESCO network as one of the main elements of the program for UNESCO reformation will be introduced, the press-service of the Government RB reports.
