Six commandos from Bashkortostan wounded in Chechnya

The press-service of the Ministry of internal affairs in RB reports the commandos from the special squadron ”Bulat”, dislocated in Ufa, were wounded in Chechnya during the operation on neutralization of the illegal armed unit. Three commandos have received bullet wounds. Their squadron was fired on by the gangsters, later discovered and blocked.

The 25-year-old sniper, the 27-year-old field engineer and senior field engineer from Bashkortostan have been seriously wounded. At present time all servicemen are hospitalized and the threat to their lives is absent.

At present time more than 200 commandos from Bashkortostan are found in Chechnya with a six-month mission. The employees of the law-enforcement bodies RB carry out the tasks on restoration and maintenance of law and order in the North-Caucasian region since 2000.
