Program for modernization of Bashkir health protection system is signed in Ministry of health protection and social development RF

The three-sided agreement on development of the program for modernization of the health protection system RB in 2011-2012 is signed between the Government RB, the Ministry of health protection and social development RF and the Federal Obligatory Medical Insurance Fund.

The press-service of the Ministry of health protection RB reports the program has passed numerous agreements and is finally approved. Its overall financing for the nearest two years will be about 15 billion rubles.

The modernization of Bashkortostan’s health protection system is aimed at optimization of activity of the Republican health institutions, inculcation of the multi-level medical aiding, strengthening of the health system’s material and technical base, its informatization and at transition to new financial mechanisms.

Establishment of the inter-municipal specialized medical centers on the base of big city and central regional hospitals is one of the main directions of the program. Nine centers will be engaged with the specialized aiding in case of blood circulation system diseases, traumas and pollutions. Prevention of cardiovascular and oncological diseases, traumatism and protection of motherhood and childhood are considered other important directions of the program.
