Contest “The Teacher of the Year RB-2011” is opened in Ufa

132 pedagogues from towns and regions RB gathered in Ufa to determine the best teacher-2011. The 21st contest “The Teacher of the Year RB” is declared open. For the first time the contest is held at the Institute of education development RB (BIRO) and it is quite understandable because here the teachers pass professional retraining and raise the level of their skills according to the Institute’s programs of additional professional education.

Traditionally the contest will consist of two stages. In the first stage the teachers have to present their pedagogical projects, conduct a lesson and its analysis. After the end of the first stage 15 finalists will be announced. In the second stage they have to conduct master-classes, read a public lecture and take part in an open discussion.

Scientists, pedagogues of higher education institutions and practitioners under the chairmanship of the rector of the Bashkir State University Akhat Mustafin will estimate the competitors. Along with the Grand Prix winner the jury will announce the best teachers of Russian and Tatar languages and literature. The contest’s totals will be summed up on April 12 and the best teacher will present the region at the all-Russian pedagogical contest.
