Hijackings of Japanese cars are becoming more often in Bashkiria

“Toyota” cars are under the threat in Ufa. Malefactors have already hijacked five “Toyota” cars in 2011. All cars were equipped with the warning systems, made by a well-known company, with the backward signal. But these systems failed to save the cars from stealing.

The policemen say the criminals use the special scanners, reading the system’s code. Hijacking with the help of such scanner is very easy; moreover all cases occur in nighttime as a rule.

“Specialists advise the owners not to leave their cars in casual cases and use special blocking devices for wheel and pedals” – the Ministry of internal affairs in RB recommends.
