Bashkir librarians will improve computer skills
The project “Your Course”, aimed at the improvement of computer skills among population, starts in the library system of Bashkiria and it is called to help both experienced librarians and beginners to learn working with text editors, databases, browsers and other software.
The deputy director of the National Library RB Galina Evdishenko says it is necessary to raise the level of skills among librarians in the conditions of the ongoing computerization of the Republican libraries.
“It is rather difficult to master computer skills in the libraries of small towns and villages” – she says – “The project “Your Course” will help us to train the specialists, which in their turn will conduct the refresher courses for their colleagues in the countryside”.
The first lessons will start on April 4.
