Interregional conference, devoted to the Great Patriotic War to be held in Orenburg

The interregional scientific-practical conference, devoted to the 70th anniversary from the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, will be held in Orenburg in May 2011. It is organized by the Ministry of education of Orenburg and by the scientific-research Institute of history and ethnography of South Ural under the State University of Orenburg.

The participants of the conference will discuss geopolitical and internal political situation in the country on the eve of the war, heading of the Soviet industry to production of armaments, heroism of the Soviet population, the after-war organization of the world, military-patriotic education and the role of mass-media in coverage of the war events.

The collection of articles will be published by the beginning of the conference.

For participation in the conference one has to send an article to the e-mail address either wa@mail.orb.ru or kam07.07@mail.ru (the volume of such article mustn’t exceed 8 pages).
